In his address to the faithful today, Pope Francis once again addressed the ongoing wars in various parts of the world.
Specifically, he invoked the protection and assistance of Saint Joseph, whose feast day the Catholic Church celebrated yesterday, Tuesday, to bring an end to the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.
“War represents a perpetual defeat; we cannot persist in the path of warfare. Instead, we must exert every possible effort to engage in negotiation and cease hostilities,” emphasized Pope Francis.
