Pope Francis urges the Catholic faithful to pray for the intercession of the Virgin Mary to overcome the pandemic.
The Italian press talks for a “prayer marathon” of the faithful, who have to visit thirty Roman Catholic places of worship around the world, from May 1 and for 30 days and pray there as well as in their homes and in local churches.
The prayer to the Virgin Mary will be broadcasted daily, at 6 pm local time, by the media of the Holy See.
The Pope will pray in public for the end of the pandemic on May Day and on May 31st.
