Patriarch John X of Antioch presided over the Myrrh-Bearing Women Sunday Liturgy at Our Lady of Saydnaya Patriarchal Monastery.
Bishop Moussa (El-Khoury) and Bishop Ephraim (Maalouli) assisted him in the service, with the participation of Archimandrite Youhanna al-Talleh, the Abbot of St George’s Monastery, and a group of priests.
At the end of the Holy Liturgy, the Patriarch congratulated the Abbess of the monastery, Mother Febronia, the nuns and the faithful present there for the feast of the Great and Holy Pascha, wishing to everyone God’s blessings, peace, good health, and many blessed returns of the Holy season.
Afterwards, the Patriarch met the nuns and the girls of the Saydnaya Monastery Orphanage in the monastery’s hall.
