Patriarch John X made a phone call to His All-Holiness, the Ecumenical Patriarch and Archbishop of Constantinople, Bartholomew I, to check on His health after the illness that afflicted Him during the recent visit to America.
His Beatitude wished His All-Holiness good health and congratulated Him on the occasion of the thirty-year assumption of the patriarchate. His Beatitude also asked His All-Holiness to always mention the Antiochian Church in His prayers.
The Ecumenical Patriarch thanked Patriarch John X for His love and communication. His Beatitude reassured Him about the situation in Lebanon and Syria in light of the various difficult crises undergone by the two countries.
The Ecumenical Patriarch also stressed the ecumenical Patriarchate’s support for the Patriarchate of Antioch in light of these hardships.
