Face your falls with patience, and after getting up quickly, run and do not stand like children, in the place where you fell, crying and mourning inconsolably.
Watch and pray so that you will not be tempted. Do not despair if you continue to fall into old sins. Many of them are both strong in nature and out of habit.
Over time, however, and with diligence, they are defeated. “Do not despair of anything.”
