Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia accompanied by the Archimandrites, Sosipatros Stefanoudis, and Alexandros Loukatos will be visiting Denmark and the wider Copenhagen region from Friday, November 12, until Sunday, November 14, 2021.
The Metropolitan will preside over the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy, which will be performed in the Parish of the glorious New Martyr George of Ioannina, at Toldbodgade 7, 4000 Roskilde, on Sunday, November 14, 2021, at 10.00 am.
During his stay in Denmark, Metropolitan Cleopas will have meetings with state and ecclesiastical officials, as well as with members of the parish and its Ecclesiastical Council.
The Metropolitan’s pastoral visit follows the founding of the Parish of St. George of Ioannina, in November 2018, in the town of Roskilde, which is about 30 kilometers from Copenhagen.
