A special Sunday School session took place on March 31, 2024, at St. George’s Cathedral in Stockholm, led by Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia. Prior to Holy Communion, the students gathered in the church to engage with the teachings of the Church.
Metropolitan Cleopas, in his customary manner, delved into the life of a saint or expounded upon the Sunday Gospel passage in a manner accessible to the children. However, this Sunday held a unique focus: the Sacrament of Chrismation. To provide the students with a tangible understanding of this sacramental aspect of Church life, the Metropolitan performed the Chrismation ritual for a young man right before their eyes.
The students participated in this sacred moment, offering their congratulations to the newly-enlightened individual and offering prayers for him and his godfather, Alexandros.
