Metropolitan Anthony of Chersonese and Western Europe, the Head of the Patriarchate’s Office of the Patriarchate of Moscow on issues of abroad, met with the Head of the Greek Orthodox Church, Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece.
It should be mentioned that Metropolitan Anthony is paying a short visit to Greece, following the blessings of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kyril. During the meeting, Metropolitan Anthony conveyed primarily the wishes of Patriarch Kyril to Archbishop Ieronymos.
The Russian Hierarch informed the Head of the Church of Greece about the work done under his direction, as well as the current situation of the provinces and parishes of the Moscow Patriarchate abroad.
The Archbishop and Metropolitan Anthony also raised a number of issues on the inter-orthodox agenda.
