On Sunday, February 11, the celebrations honoring Saint Hieromartyr Charalambos reached their peak at the Greek Orthodox Parish in the suburb of Templestowe in Melbourne.
Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne presided over the Divine Liturgy, accompanied by Bishop Themistoklis of Nikopolis from the Patriarchate of Alexandria, and Fathers Ilias Kentrotis, Menelaos Chatzoglou, and Dimitrios Drougas. Bishop Kyriakos conveyed the wishes, blessings, and love of Archbishop Makarios of Australia to all present.
After the Divine Liturgy, an open-air Greek Festival was organized, drawing a large crowd of Greek Australians and attended by Bishop Sozopolis, other dignitaries, and clergy from the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne.
