Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain sent a cordial letter to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, requesting the return of the sculptures of the Parthenon to Athens.
In his letter, Archbishop Nikitas points out that the Parthenon Sculptures are a special case, which requires a bold and progressive solution that would significantly improve relations between the Greeks, the British, and all those who value Greek heritage.
