The worship places for all denominations and all religions will remain closed to the public during the Holy Week, as Nikos Chardalias clarified a while ago at today’s briefing of the citizens on coronavirus issues.
The Deputy Minister for Civil Protection and Crisis Management made clear at the press conference: “Claims reported in various media that some worship places of other religions will remain open during the Holy Week are utterly unsubstantiated and unwarranted.”
Chardalias also stated: “In the last few weeks, we are making huge efforts and we are the main actors of these efforts in our country. This has brought to the fore everything that unites us and proves clearly what we can achieve when we work as a team.”
The deputy minister recalled once again that “the churches during the Holy Week will be closed to all the faithful.”
