The foreign ministers of Greece Nikos Dendias and India Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar had a cordial meeting in New York on Thursday, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
In their fifth meeting within the space of a year and three months, the two foreign ministers discussed the next steps in expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Greece and India, with the aim of giving their bilateral relations a strategic character.
Dendias and Subrahmanyam Jaishankar also shared perspectives on Ukraine, the Eastern Mediterranean, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Cyprus issue, according to a foreign ministry post on Twitter.
