On Tuesday, January 7, 2020, Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Konstantinos Vlasis held a meeting with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew. The deputy minister attended the Patriarchal and Synodical Divine Liturgy on Monday, Feast of Theophany, as representative of the Greek government.
The Consul General of Greece in Constantinople, Georgia Soultanopoulou also attended the meeting. The Ecumenical Patriarch congratulated the deputy minister on his appointment by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and thanked him for his continuous interest in the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Greek diaspora in Constantinople.
