The A. Fantis School of Sts. Constantine and Helen Cathedral (Brooklyn, NY) hosted a beautiful celebration of Greek Letters on January 30, 2023, for the Feast of the Three Holy and Great Hierarchs. Following the Divine Liturgy, all of the students, staff, and visitors were treated to a delicious brunch prepared by Michelle Tampakis.
An educational talk exploring the faith and knowledge of Saints Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom, was presented by the Cathedral’s Pastoral Assistant, John Strzelecki.
Students from the schools at Saint Demetrios Cathedral (Astoria, NY) and the Archdiocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (Manhattan, NY) were also invited to attend, accompanied by their respective clergy, including St. Demetrios Proistamenos Protopresbyter Anargiros Stavropoulos. Dean of Sts. Constantine and Helen Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Evagoras Constantinides chaired the event.
Archdiocesan District Chancellor Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Elias Villis represented Archbishop Elpidophoros of America at the celebration, while Assistant Director of Greek Education, Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Throne Gregory Stamkopoulos represented the Department.
