On Tuesday, September 20, the day our Church celebrates the memory of Saint Eustathios the Great Martyr, in the celebratory Archdiocesan Church of Saint Eustathios, in South Melbourne, a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy was held, presided over by Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, accompanied by Bishop Themistocles of Nicopolis, of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, as well as Proistamenos of the Church Father Kyrillos Zisis, and by other clergy of the Archdiocesan District of Melbourne.
On the eve of the feast day, a celebratory hierarchical vespers was also held.
After the Divine Liturgy, a festive meal was offered and served with the participation of the Holy Clergy and the faithful, while the Consul General of Greece in Melbourne, Mr. Emmanuel Kakavelakis, and the Chairman of the Intercommunity Council of Victoria, Mr. Antonios Tsourdalakis, among others, were present for the festal celebrations.
