The Ecumenical Patriarchate announced that on the great day and feast of Christmas, on Monday, December 25, the Ecumenical Patriarch will preside over the Patriarchal and Synodal Divine Liturgy and will perform the ordination of Metropolitan Theodoros of Seleucia to the rank of Bishop and the ordination of the new Chief Secretary of the Holy and Sacred Synod, Deacon Bosporios Mangafas, to the rank of Presbyter.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Ecumenical Patriarch will ordain the new Presbyter as Archimandrite of the Great Church.
