The Great Vespers service for the feast of Saint Photios the Great, Archbishop of Constantinople, founder of the Holy Trinity Monastery of Halki, was perfomred yesterday, February 5. The Abbot, Bishop Cassianos of Arabissos, presided over the Great Vesers service. Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who arrived at the School around noon, attended prayerfully.
A delegation of Roman Catholic clergy led by the Abbot of the Bose Monastery in Italy also attended the Vespers service.
