On Saturday, September 10, 2022, with the blessing of Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain and in response to the gracious invitation of Bishop Iakovos of Claudiopolis, Archimandrite Nephon Tsimalis, Director of the Office of the Archbishop, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in English at the Holy Church of Apostle Barnabas in Wood Green.
After the Sacred Service, the Ladies’ Society hosted a gracious reception for all in attendance, which was followed by a sermon on the Holy Cross by Fr. Nephon.
This was the first of a series of Liturgies and Homilies by Fr. Nephon Tsimalis scheduled to take place on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10.00am at St. Barnabas in Wood Green.
The next Liturgy and fellowship Homily in English will be celebrated on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
