CROCEU – EPP meeting on enhancing cooperation

The agenda of events for 2020 and the possibilities to enhance cooperation were discussed, on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at a meeting between CROCEU and EPP representatives, in Brussels.

Romain Srasser, Head of the Intercultural and Religious Dialogue Unit of the EPP Group in the European Parliament presented the current work and future projects of the EPP in the areas of interest to the religious actors, The Permanent Office of the Romanian Patriarchate in Brussels reports.

The CROCEU members attending the meeting – Archim. Aimilianos Bogiannou (Patriarchate of Constantinople), Archpriest Sorin Selaru (Patriarchate of Romania), Bishop Porfyrios of Neapolis and Archim. Nektarios Ioannou (Church of Cyprus) – briefed Strasser on their priorities for the upcoming months and the ways in which their cooperation with the EPP could be further strengthened to the benefit of European citizens.
