On Sunday, March 17, Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Archangels in the suburb of Mentone in Melbourne. He was accompanied by Bishop Themistocles of Nicopolis, from the Patriarchate of Alexandria, and assisted by Fr. Panagiotis Zouboulis and Fr. Dimitrios Drougas.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Kyriakos addressed the congregation, conveying the blessings of the Archbishop of Australia and offering wishes for a fruitful Lenten season and a spiritually enriching struggle.
Among the faithful was Nicholas Archontonis, the brother of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.
