Archbishop Elpidophoros of America is attending the 33rd Annual Leadership 100 (L100) Conference in Naples, FL. This year’s Conference is also celebrating 40 years of this extraordinary Endowment Fund, whose mission is to advance Orthodoxy and Hellenism in America.
During his time at the Conference, the Archbishop has attended the Executive and Board meetings and offered his paternal exhortation to the members and guests in attendance.
On Saturday, March 2, 2024, the Archbishop enjoyed the message of Forum Speaker Matina Kolokotronis, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Sacramento Kings, who spoke about the profound impact that her Greek Orthodox faith had had on her personal life and career.
The Archbishop also had the opportunity to meet and discuss with Young Professionals. It is reminded that the Young Professionals Committee seeks to increase engagement of young professionals within the broader Leadership 100 Community and grow the next generation of Leadership 100 leaders.
In his address to the young professional, the Archbishop remarked: “You are the future of this organization, and this organization is very much linked to the future of our Archdiocese.” He also urged them, “I pray that all of you will remain engaged. I hope that you will take this time of internship, if you will, and bring about even greater results and accomplishments for the Church, which Leadership’s first generation achieved.”
In the afternoon, March 2, 2024 the Archbishop joined golfers and tennis players for a relaxing lunch. He presented awards to a number of players who are attending the Conference. It is reminded that Leadership 100 has contributed millions of dollars to the ministries and the programs of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
