On Saturday, February 10, on the feast of Saint Charalambos the Hieromartyr, Bishop Kyriakos of Sozopolis, Archiepiscopal Vicar of Melbourne, officiated the Divine Liturgy at the celebrating church in the suburb of Templestowe in Melbourne.
The Bishop presided over the Orthros Service the festive Divine Liturgy, accompanied by Bishop Themistoklis of Nikopolis from the Patriarchate of Alexandria, the clergy of the Parish, Fr. Ilias Kentrotis and Fr. Menelaos Chatzoglou, as well as Fathers Emmanuel Ioannidis and Dimitrios Drougas.
Among the numerous attendees was Emmanuel Kakavelakis, the Consul General of Greece in Melbourne.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, Bishop Kyriakos conveyed the wishes, blessings, and love of Archbishop Makarios of Australia to all present.
