On Saturday, December 18, Bishop Iakovos of Claudiopolis visited the Greek Orthodox Community of Saint Zachary and Elizabeth in Swansea, West Wales.
The Bishop presided over the Divine Liturgy performed by Protopresbyter Anastasios Salapatas, who is responsible for this Community.
The Bishop of Claudiopolis spoke at the end of the Divine Liturgy, while congratulating the Archons of the Community for the efforts they make by offering them commemorative festive gifts.
He then performed the Holy Trisagion for the repose of the late Eleni Ireland, a distinguished and award-winning poet who was one of the founding members of the local community.
