The Holy Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain offered the amount of 9,900 euros to the Philoptochos Fund of the Metropolis of Thessaliotis and Fanariofersala for the flood victims.
Archbishop Nikitas sent to Karditsa Auxiliary Bishop Maximos of the Archdiocese of Melitene and was informed about the situation there. The Bishop was received and hosted by Metropolitan Timotheos of Thessaliotis and Fanariofersala.
Metropolitan Timotheos, who is working day and night with the local authorities to support the people who lost all their assets due to the flood, thanked Bishop Maximos for the donation that is so much needed for the victims of the floods.
Archbishop Nikitas and the faithful of the Holy Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain pray for the healing of the wounds of the victims of this terrible flood, as well as for all those who suffered from the recent natural disasters in Greece.
