Two COVID-19 cases were detected in the Archdiocese of Cyprus and two other cases in the Theological School, thus placing some people under quarantine.
As reported by cyprustime.com, the Holy Archdiocese implemented all the protocols from the very beginning and both buildings were disinfected accordingly.
By instruction of the Primate of the Church of Cyprus, after a clergyman and a member of the auxiliary staff had tested positive for COVID-19, the building of the Holy Archdiocese remained closed yesterday and today in order for all actions to be taken. Close contacts have already been informed and self-quarantined.
The relevant procedures based on the protocols of the Ministry of Health were implemented in the Theological School as well.
The process of contact tracing is also in progress.
