Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain thanked Prime Minister Boris Johnson and London Mayor Sadiq Khan, for their wishes on the occasion of the celebration of Orthodox Easter.
In a statement, the Archdiocese also thanked Jason Charalambous, Mr. Petros Nicolaides and Mr. Christos Karaolis for their efforts in raising awareness about the Orthodox Community in the United Kingdom.

As the Orthodox Christian Community of this Country, we would like to thank His Excellency Prime Minister Boris Johnson for his warm wishes on Orthodox Easter (Holy Pascha) as well as convey to him our prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Also, we would like to thank the Honourable Members of Parliament, Mr. Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, Mr. Andy Street, Mayor the West Midlands, and Councillors from various cities in this country for extending their wishes to the Orthodox Community on the occasion of Holy Pascha.
