In the context of the Christmas and New Year holidays, Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus, accompanied, respectively, by the Commander of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Democritus Zervakis and the Deputy Commander, Lieutenant General Konstantinos Chrysiliou, visited outposts in the area of responsibility of the 6th Motorized Brigade and 4th Infantry Brigade.
During the visits, the Archbishop of Cyprus referred to the special importance of the message of the Holy Days of Christmas, while addressing the staff, Archbishop Chrysostomos stressed the value of military service for their life while pointing out the dangers arising from the dangerous driving and drugs.
The Commander of the National Guard thanked the Archbishop of Cyprus for the wishes and gifts to the soldiers, as well as for the timeless support of the Church in the Armed Forces.
