Archbishop Eirinaios of Crete is looking forward to being discharged from the University Hospital of Heraklion, where he has been hospitalised for about two weeks.
The Chair of the University Hospital of Heraklion, Georgios Chalkiadakis, told SKAI Crete 92.1 that the Archbishop was in a good mood and that he wanted to be discharged soon in order to return to the Archdiocese of Crete.
“His health is improving. He is hospitalised at the Neurological Clinic, gets out of bed twice a day, his mood is extremely good and he has no fever,” he said. When he was asked when will the Archbishop be discharged, Georgios Chalkiadakis said that this would happen as soon as he was completely safe to return to the Archdiocese of Crete.
