“The Resurrection becomes a fact of faith that invites us to an existential transcendence,” said Archbishop Makarios of Australia in his Encyclical for Holy Easter 2022.
His Eminence explains that Christ did not want to impose Himself with miracles and supernatural evidence, but instead gave rise to the highest event of the Resurrection, overthrowing the supremacy of historical objectivity with faith.
In his message to the faithful, he underlines that the great challenge is to prove our faith, which leads us to the revelation of the last.
