Due to recent developments on the Covid-19 (corona-virus) and the increasing cases in Australia as well as the corresponding guidelines announced by the Federal Government of Australia, Archbishop Makarios has postponed the Youth Conference, which was to be held on Saturday 14th of March 2020 at St. John’s College Preston.
In a statement, Archbishop requests the understanding of the youth and their families for this change in program, “which is solely due to the responsibility of our Church, not to jeopardize the well-being of the participants”.
The Youth Conference will be rescheduled for the future, until such time as this health concern has been resolved, with the grace and blessing of our God, reads the statement.
