During his first visit to St. Basil Academy in Garrison NY, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America conducted a Trisagion service at the gravesite of Archbishop Michael of blessed memory followed by an Agiasmos service at the chapel of St. Basil.
As the Primate of America points out on social media “With reverence I venerated at the graveside of my ever-memorable predecessor Archbishop Michael at St. Basil Academy. Archbishop Michael established GOYA and had Orthodoxy recognized as a major faith in the USA. May His Memory be eternal!”
