On Friday the 21st of June, Archbishop Makarios of Australia attended a warm welcome dinner at Le Sand Pavilion organised by Bishop Seraphim of Apollonias and clergy. It was an opportunity for the Archbishop to meet all the clergy of NSW and the Presviteres.
Very Rev. Nektarios Zorbalas welcomed Archbishop Makarios and presented Him a gift (Cross & Engolpion) on behalf of the clergy. The new Archbishop after thanking wholeheartedly Bishop Seraphim, the clergy and presviteres, cut the cake which had written on it: Welcome to Australia your Eminence.
