Deputy Foreign Minister Kostas Vlasis will travel to Lebanon tomorrow, Thursday, July 22, as a part of his responsibilities for religious and ecclesiastical affairs, according to a relevant announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He will meet with Patriarch John X of Antioch, at the Patriarchal Monastery in Balamand. In addition, he will hold a meeting with Metropolitan Elias of Beirut, while his program includes meetings with academic, and business organizations of the diaspora.
Finally, Vlasis will visit the University of Balamad, the Theological School of Saint John of Damascus, the Cathedral of Saint George in Beirut, as well as the Orthodox Hospital of Saint George.
