Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met with his Lithuanian counterpart Gabrielius Landsbergis in Vilnius on Tuesday.
The visit marks the excellent level of relations between Greece and Lithuania and the common will to promote cooperation at the bilateral and European levels, according to a foreign ministry post on Twitter.
After the bilateral meeting of the two ministers, talks between the delegations of the two sides followed, focusing on strengthening cooperation and developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, Western Balkans, and Eastern Neighbourhood.
During his visit to Lithuania, the foreign minister will be received by the President of the Lithuanian Parliament, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, and has also been invited to address the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
