As a melody of Theology, Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece described Worship in his Paschal message.
According to him, “It’s the amazing poetry of these days that makes faith look like a song and a feast. Faith in the Cross and the Resurrection of Christ.
Ieronymos emphasizes that the mystery of the Cross is the mystery of love. “The acceptance of responsibility for the unity of all men, for going beyond the division of human nature, of human chaos, is the result of sin and leads to death.”
If Christ was not resurrected, our faith is in vain, as the Holy Bible asserts. Indeed, Christ has risen, Archbishop Ieronymos says.
He also adds that the resurrection of the Theanthropos (God-Man) has abolished not only death, but devil’s state too. “It is in our free will to turn disasters into deep search of God, Who is the real object of our desire, to turn our own Cross into a quest for the Cross of Christ. Let us live the Resurrection as beings, and accept Christ in our hearts.
The Risen Lord Jesus does not lie in the distant past, he is a very much alive presence. His godly and risen body is the mystery of the Church. Τhere is room for everyone in the feast of faith.”
