Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew received Archbishop Nektarios of Anthedonos, Commissioner of the Holy Sepulcher in Constantinople, who invited the Patriarch to officiate at the Divine Liturgy of the thronal feast of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, which will take place on the 23rd of October when the memory of St. Apostle James the Brother of the Lord and first Bishop of Jerusalem is honored.
He also received Bishop Benjamin of Tralee, who asked for the Patriarchal wishes on the occasion of his name celebration, as well as Archim. Charalambos Nichev, Head of the Bulgarian Community in Constantinople, together with the President of the Bulgarian Parish Vasilios Liaze, who invited the Ecumenical Patriarch to officiate at the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, October 18, on the occasion of the impending feast of St. John of Rila the Wonderworker, at the namesake Holy Temple in Sisli.
The Patriarch also received the Treasurer Philotheos Kelepouris, clergyman of the Archdiocese of Constantinople, together with his wife Evangelia, who paid his respects and asked for the Holy Patriarchal wish and blessing on the occasion of his name celebration.
Afterwards, the Patriarch received Serbay Koçoğlu, President of the Association “Selimpaşa Epivates Bigados Derneği”, together with the members of the Board and followed Georgios Kioseoglou and Liana Vgenopoulou, who paid their respects and asked for the Holy Patriarchal wish and blessing, on the occasion of their upcoming weddings. Finally the Patriarch received Rinaldo Marmara, writer, from Constantinople.
