On Holy Thursday evening, May 3, the service of the Passions was held.
In it, the twelve Gospel narratives were read, with the relevant hymns chanted in between. The first Gospel narrative was read by Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, and the rest by High Priests and Archimandrites of the Patriarchate.
The service was attended by many faithful Christians, the Consul General of Greece in Jerusalem, Dimitrios Angelosopoulos, and the Consul, Anna Mantika.
