On the feast of the Holy and glorious Great Martyr Euphemia, renowned throughout the world, on September 16, 2024, Metropolitan Meliton of Philadelphia celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Church.
In attendance were Metropolitan Maximos of Silivria, Metropolitan Joachim of Prussa, Bishop Adrianos of Halicarnassus, as well as clergy and faithful from the Constantinople and abroad.
On the eve of the feast, the same Hierarch presided over the Great Vespers.
The Holy Relic of the Saint, which is kept in the Patriarchal Church, was displayed for veneration by the devout faithful on both days.
