The Cypriot government announced new emergency measures on Wednesday, in an effort to stem the spread of the pandemic in Cyprus and especially in the provinces of Limassol and Paphos.
The focus was on the provinces of Limassol and Paphos, where the epidemiological burden has been particularly high for several weeks, despite the measures that have been already taken.
As a result, it was decided to take a series of strict restrictive measures in the two provinces.
Particularly, as far as places of worship are concerned, these measures include Services and other forms of religious worship in religious places without the presence of believers.
Religious ceremonies (weddings, baptisms, funerals) will be held with a maximum of 10 people as well as it is forbidden to hold meals / dinners and any other events for weddings and baptisms, except for events in a house with a maximum of 10 people including minors.
These measures will be valid until November 30.
