With the blessing of the Ecumenical Patriarch the replacement process of the Archbishop of Crete begins (upd)

With the blessing and consent of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, the proceedings in the Church of Crete for the replacement of Archbishop Eirinaios begin, due to the serious health problems he is facing.

Specifically, the Holy Synod of the Church of Crete, in today’s meeting, decided to appoint three doctors who will decide on the health of Archbishop Eirinaios, so that the process of his replacement can proceed.

It should be reminded that Archbishop Eirinaios of Crete was admitted to the hospital today after health complications.

The Archbishop has been facing serious health problems in recent months and the doctors who are taking care of him deemed it necessary that he admit to the hospital of Heraklion.
