Visit of the Venezuelan Ambassador to the Ecumenical Patriarchate

On Friday, September 5, 2025, the Ecumenical Patriarch received the Ambassador of Venezuela to Ankara, Freddy Eduardo Molina Gutierrez, who was accompanied by the Consul General in Constantinople, Lissett Margarita Hernandez Marquez, along with other members of his delegation. Representing the Ecumenical Patriarchate was the Grand Archimandrite Iakovos.

During their meeting, they exchanged views on current issues. The Ambassador briefed the Ecumenical Patriarch on the situation in his country and extended an official invitation for him to visit Venezuela.
