On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Metropolitan Ioannis of Zambia and Mozambique paid a fraternal visit to Walid Hasan, Ambassador of the State of Palestine and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, in Lusaka.
During the visit, he extended to the Ambassador and all Muslim brothers his heartfelt wishes for a blessed Eid al-Fitr and offered prayers for an end to war in Palestine and throughout the world. He also expressed his hope that the God of love and peace will fill everyone’s life with His grace, peace, and abundant blessings.
At the conclusion of the visit, Archbishop Ioannis conveyed the blessings of the Pope and Patriarch Theodore II of Alexandria and All Africa, who in his spiritual capacity is constantly praying for God’s peace to prevail throughout the world.
