The Vatican announced today that Pope Francis was ending general audiences with the public which were being held every Wednesday due to the Coivd-19 resurgence in Italy.
“Pope Francis will resume live-streaming his weekly catechism lessons from his library in the Apostolic Palace on the 4th of November.”
“This decision was made as a positive coronavirus case was reported during the general audience on the 21st of October in order to prevent any possible risk to the health of those involved,” the Vatican said in a brief statement.
