Both the Holy See and the Agostino Gemelli Hospital in Rome emphasized that the treatment administered to the Pope follows medical criteria rather than a predetermined timeline.
Regarding recent reports in the Italian press highlighting the absence of any officially released photographs of Pope Francis since his hospitalization three weeks ago, Vatican sources responded that the decision to release images rests solely with the individual concerned. “Everyone decides when and how to share images of themselves,” the sources stated, adding that “some people would not be satisfied with any photograph, regardless of its content.”
