Unprecedented scenes unfolded a while ago in the center of Athens, insulting Greek culture and the Orthodox faith.
In particular, about 20 people who had gathered to participate in one of the planned protest marches in favor of D. Koufontinas, a member of a terrorist organization that has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of 11 people, attacked for no apparent reason a motorcyclist who had in the back of his vehicle an icon of the Virgin Mary and a cross.
The video shows that the gathered people provoked the man and threw the icon down, while they stepped on it furiously, broke the glass, and tore the icon.
In fact, they mocked the man who tried to take the icon from the middle of the street where it had been thrown and save it from their rage, but he did not succeed. The protesters took the icon and tore it up shouting vulgar slogans.
