Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to visit Athens for a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, according to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lana Zochiou, who made the announcement during yesterday’s briefing of diplomatic correspondents.
The exact date of President Zelensky’s visit will be announced by the Greek Prime Minister’s Office in the coming days.
It is worth recalling that President Zelensky previously visited Athens in August 2023, following an official invitation from Prime Minister Mitsotakis to attend a dinner with leaders from the Western Balkans and the European Union.
