The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, announced that he held a phone conversation with U.S. National Security Adviser Mike Waltz to discuss “the next steps toward a just and lasting peace” in Ukraine.
In a statement on Platform X, Yermak said that he and Waltz “exchanged views on security issues and the alignment of positions”, signaling ongoing diplomatic coordination between Kyiv and Washington.
As part of these efforts, Yermak revealed that a meeting between Ukrainian and U.S. officials has been scheduled for the near future to “continue this important work”, reinforcing the two nations’ commitment to security cooperation and potential pathways to peace.
