The Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, stated today that Turkey would not expect that the European Union would impose sanctions on the country due to the conflict between Turkey and Greece in the eastern Mediterranean.
The European Union has already expressed full support for its Member States, Greece and Cyprus, and said that it intends to impose sanction if talks do not resume.
In an interview with NTV, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu claimed that Turkey was open to dialogue without setting prior conditions.
