Today, the Ninth Sunday of Luke, January 23, 2022, in the chapel of Panagia Kamariotissa, the Orthros and the Divine Liturgy were performed by the Abbot, Bishop of Arabissos, Cassianos.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, a Trisagion was performed by the Abbot, Bishop Cassianos, for the repose of the soul of the blessed Metropolitan of Smyrna, Basil, a graduate of the School of Anchialos (1960), who was serving also as its Headmaster during the years 1870-1876 and 1873.
Believers from the island and Constantinople attended the service, in compliance with the COVID-19 restrictive measures.
