On the feast of the glorious Saint Apostle Andrew the First-Called, the Thronal Feast of the Ecumenical Patriarchate will be celebrated at the Patriarchal Church, in the Phanar.
On Monday, November 29, at 4:30 p.m. the Great Vespers will be officiated by the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, and on Tuesday, November 30, the Patriarchal and Synodal Divine Liturgy will take place.
The address of the feast will be delivered by Metropolitan Kyrillos of Rhodes.
It will be attended, as every year, by an official Delegation of the Church of Rome under the leadership of Cardinal Kurt Koch, President of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of Christian Unity.
After the end of the Vespers of the Feast, the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will grant to George Savvits the offikion of the Archon Myrepsos of the Holy Church of Christ.
